Existing covers stay saved in the file or your browser. Newly discovered books may show an online API cover preview; edit the book and upload a screenshot of the exact edition to pin it offline. Back up the library to preserve custom images.

Tip: the red/green reading-book icon cycles Not read → Reading → Read. The gold crown means a special edition and the quill means signed. ISBN, series and cover art can be edited at any time.

The library and its saved details work offline; global book discovery requires internet access. Book covers imported by API can remain online links until you upload an exact cover. This one-file version saves changes in your current browser, not across devices; use JSON Export / Import to transfer and protect them. No account or automatic syncing.

Nicola's Wishlist ♡

A little constellation of books to dream about — future sequels, special editions, and stories waiting to find their way onto the shelves.

When you buy a book, select “Mark ordered” or “On shelf” to move it automatically into the main library. Wishlist books stay out of the owned-book counts.

The wishlist is saved with your library in this browser and included in the same JSON backup. Global discovery requires an internet connection. Changes do not automatically sync between devices.

Your shelves are saved alongside the books in this browser and included in a V9 JSON backup. Syncing between devices will be added when we connect Supabase.

Series and subseries create the library sections automatically. Books marked 'Read · ownership unconfirmed' were read previously but physical ownership hasn't been confirmed.
